Site Billing & Cancellations

Change of Billing Details

If the payment account/card currently set up for a site’s subscription needs to change, you will need to cancel the subscription from your WebinOne Portal, under ‘Live Sites’, clicking on the 3 dot () menu icon for the site in question, choosing ‘Settings’, and then under the ‘Subscription’ tab use the “CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION” button at the bottom.

Once the site subscription has been cancelled, the site account will be set to ‘Trial’ status, where you’ll be able to set up a new billing subscription by clicking on the ‘ACTIVATE’ button next to the Trial site account listing.

If the site is using Direct Billing, or you are changing the site to Direct Billing, follow the steps above, but instead of setting up the new billing subscription, change the site settings to enable Direct Billing and instruct your client to activate billing from the gear icon in the site admin.

Within 48 hours after the new billing subscription has been set up, the site will move from your Trial sites list back to your Live sites list.

Upon cancellation of your site’s subscription, the custom domain/s assigned to the site will be removed from the platform. Domains will generally continue resolving to the live website for a period of time, but please activate the new billing as soon as possible to avoid any potential downtime.

Site Plan Changes

To change a site's plan, access its settings from your WebinOne Portal, under ‘Live Sites’, clicking on the 3 dot () menu icon for the site in question, choosing ‘Settings’, and adjusting the plan configurations to your desired needs.

Both ‘Content Plan’ and ‘Ecommerce Plan’ can be selected directly from the dropdowns, while plan customisations can be configured by clicking the blue “Customize” links alongside each dropdown, respectively.

The billing subscription will be automatically updated - with the current subscription cancelled and a new subscription created.

As of September 1st, 2025, all version 6 site plans can no longer be upgraded or downgraded, and will need to be updated to version 7 to change plan configurations.

Site Billing Cycle Changes

You can easily change a site subscription from monthly to yearly, or yearly to monthly as needed. From your WebinOne Portal, under ‘Live Sites’, clicking on the 3 dot () menu icon for the site in question, choose ‘Change Billing Cycle’, and follow the prompts to switch cycles and adjust billing where needed.

Site Cancellations

If the site is no longer required to be live, you can cancel the subscription from your WebinOne Portal, under ‘Live Sites’, clicking on the 3 dot () menu icon for the site in question, choosing ‘Settings’, and then under the ‘Subscription’ tab use the “CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION” button at the bottom.

Once the site subscription has been cancelled, the site account will be set to ‘Trial’ status, where you’ll be able to either delete the site altogether or retain the site in trial mode (for duplicating or future reactivation).

Pausing Site Billing

Unfortunately, site billing subscriptions cannot be stopped and started as needed. If site billing needs to stop temporarily, the site will need to be cancelled and later restored from a Trial site version with a new billing subscription set up.
